Developing the PHP Community in Singapore
Singapore PHP User Group - New Website & offical venue for meetup
Hi Guys,
We've been working hard to get things kick-started in the Singapore PHP User Group.
We're working on a new website to consolidate all our online presence - this includes a Wiki where we can contribute and get some cool info to get you started in PHP programming.
We are also in discussion right now with a local university to have an official venue for our meet-ups. This will facilitate us making presentations or having an (un)conference style event.
On a similar note, i will be doing a PHP workshop in Ngee Ann Poly very soon (Nov or Dec 2007). This is part of the module on "Web Development & Administration" - very basic stuff with emphasis on Dreamweaver 8 usage.
